A sturdy, safari workhorse much loved by all who are privileged to operate this lovely little aeroplane. Designed for flying shorter distances, our Cessna 206 is ideal for couples and small families. Chief Pilot
Murtaza "Ice Man" Walijee is the seasoned leader of our team of pioneering aviators, bringing an impressive 9,600 hours of bush flying experience across the diverse and rugged landscapes of East and southern Africa.
A certified flight instructor and a KCAA instrument examiner, Murtaza possesses a wealth of knowledge and skill set which has shaped him into a respected member of the aviation community in East Africa. Bush flying is Murtaza’s true passion, particularly in guiding our epic cross border flying safaris, exploring the wild heart of East and southern Africa.
Born and raised in Mombasa, Murtaza is a natural storyteller and explorer with a deep passion for Africa’s hidden gems, breathtaking landscapes, and incredible wildlife. His extensive knowledge of off-the-beaten-track destinations offers guests truly unique experiences on our flying safaris. With countless flights under his belt, Murtaza captivates guests with fascinating tales, weaving together thrilling adventures and awe-inspiring scenery. Under his leadership, our flying safaris transcend ordinary travel, becoming immersive journeys into the very heart and soul of Africa.
When not flying, Murtaza is an avid photographer and tech / gadget enthusiast. A master filmographer (especially with GoPros), he enjoys capturing stunning moments and exploring new technology.

Capt. Aaron Ralph D’Cruz
Pilot & Guide
With over 4,300 hrs of bush flying experience across Africa, Aaron’s happy place is undeniably in the sky. Having started his aviation career as an aircraft engineer, Aaron realised he would much prefer fly them rather than fix them. An accomplished pilot with many facets, he has flown humanitarian relief for the United Nations in Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, and Chad and he is also a certified jump pilot, dropping Skydivers over the Kenya coast. Whenever Aaron is not in the sky, he loves travelling and exploring new destinations with his wife. He plays the guitar and the drums and is an avid sportsman.

Capt. John Mark Otieno
Pilot & Guide
Kenya born, raised, educated, trained and living the dream in. Ever since his early childhood, all John ever wanted to do was fly. He spent hours watching planes anywhere he could spot them, school couldn’t be over quick enough and he finally realised his dream. With extensive experience having flown throughout eastern Africa, up in South Sudan and Somalia, John even ventured into West Africa flying passengers, cargo and also medivac flights. An avid motorsports fan (when not flying), John keeps himself cycling fit most weekends. Kenya is home and it is also John’s favourite country with incredible diversity and incredibly rich cultural heritage. John is also rumoured to be a great cook!

Capt. Kim Davey
Pilot & Guide
Born in Nairobi, Kim actually spent his early years living in a tent in the Zambian bush with his parents. Kenya called and so did a boarding school in the Great Rift Valley, followed by another calling to the Hospitality Industry, working in various camps & lodges, restaurants and safari outfitters, with the dream of saving enough to become a Pilot. Kim earned his pilots wings in Kenya and on attaining is Commercial Pilots License, went onto fly Piper Super Cubs in Tsavo for a wildlife conservation organization. From Tsavo to Canada to further his flying experience, gaining his multi pilot Instrument rating, a float plane endorsement and his wife. The Canadian bush was tremendous experience, but the wilds of Africa called once again and he returned, now with over 2,300hrs of flying he is living the dream as part of our team. When not flying Kim rides motorbikes and tinkers with cars.

Capt. Kimaru Boit
Pilot & Guide
“Kim” as he likes to be known is a well - seasoned pilot with over 4,100hrs to his credit. After completing his commercial pilot training in South Africa, over the years Kim gained valuable experience flying special missions in Somalia, South Sudan and the Comoros is lands for World Food Program and other humanitarian organisations. Kim is also no stranger to flying VIPs, having flown many notable celebrities around Kenya and Tanzania. With this very jovial manner, and whilst on the ground, Kim actively mentors junior pilots, has been a driver and navigator in motorsport competitions, is an avid New Zealand All Blacks Rugby fan, and coaches the sport at Next Gen multisport academy.

Capt. Sanjay Patel
Pilot & Guide
Sanjay gained his commercial pilot’s licence and invaluable flying experience the hard way; flying through Canadian snowstorms, freezing rain and brilliant sunshine (sometimes all in one day) in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Such extreme flying conditions taught Sanjay many unique skills as a bush pilot, and he returned home to continue his dream of flying in Africa. Sanjay is an active member and guide for the ‘Save Our Pride’ conservation initiative, providing vital funding for conservation projects inside Nairobi National Park. working closely with the Kenya Wildlife Service. Sanjay is an excellent guide and his eye for spotting wildlife from the air is legendary.
